The BBC reported the likes of Symantec, Trend Micro, and McAfee are "scrutinizing" the ad-system, and could decide to block cookies needed for its operation, should they deem it "adware." With a vast number of users worldwide using security software on their machines, this could have a devastating effect on Phorm's audience numbers/ad revenue

A federal committee has kept the polar bear ranked as a species 'of special concern,' two steps down from 'endangered' and one down from 'threatened.'

As the movie was publicized, I thought I am going to see a action packed film with lots of style and may be powerful enough to set some trends in fashion world too but Alas ! It turned to be a childish comedy with irrational action sequences.

Surging oil prices are sinking the U.S. economy, while Big Oil is raking in obscene profits.E.g., ExxonMobil recorded profits in 2007 of $40.6 billion.Truckers are paying more for their diesel fuel and as a result food prices are rising. Globally, nationalization of the oil industry is the trend. It’s time for the U.S. to join that club.

The news came out this week that the FAST acquisition is complete and that we will continue to support the FAST technologies on Linux and UNIX, as a separate product from SharePoint, for the forseeable future. This also means that for the near term If you’re a customer using SharePoint and you’re interested in FAST you should talk to your Microsoft team or any Microsoft partners you work with regularly to get the FAST team engaged. I expect to see more guidance on integration and SharePoint/FA
