Linux Eee PC Up to 11 Times Faster Than Windows Version

After timing a video comparison of a Linux and Windows version of the Eee PC, it turns out that the Linux version is 11x faster to shutdown, 2x faster to startup, and 4x faster to start Firefox. Bad news for Microsoft!

According to a thread on Microsoft TechNet forum, Microsoft will continue its renovations on the ever-popular Windows XP platform - Windows XP SP3 will be released and available for download via its website on April 29, 2008. This is great news for many of us who’s still using Windows XP as the OS of choice...

I thought the rising support pattern provided by the 20 period moving average was interesting and wanted to show the diagram. I’m showing the DIA (Dow Jones ETF) on the 15-minute chart with a 20 and 50 period exponential moving average. While I often trade off the 5-minute chart, I view the structure of the higher time frames (yes, a 15-minute chart is a slightly higher time frame for me!).
